University announces graduates, dean’s/chancellor’s list for spring

WCU conferred degrees on 1,625 students who completed their studies, and a total of 2,940 students have been named to the dean’s list.

MHC hosts exhibit on ancient Spanish fort, Native American town

“Uncovering Our Forgotten Past: Fort San Juan” focuses on an archaeological site that was an important Native American township and later a Spanish fortification.

Summer camps to focus on nature exploration, laboratory science

Both camps will be led by Max Lanning, a science teacher at Swain County High School and WCU alumnus.  


Nominations are sought for this year's Mountain Heritage Awards

The honors are presented at WCU's annual fall festival of Appalachian culture, Mountain Heritage Day.

Board of Trustees schedule quarterly meeting for June 7
