Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. We have a good thing going here in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western Carolina University, and we want you to know about us.

We have been a CAA accredited program since 1992, and we are proud to have a faculty and staff of 9 exceptionally talented and friendly people. We value our students and make a strong effort to provide them with exemplary educational and clinical opportunities. As an extra plus, these opportunities occur in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.

We take great pride in noting that our graduates have been employed throughout the region and nation. In addition, we are pleased that several former students have chosen to pursue doctoral studies. The bottom line at Western is that we are consumed with helping students become the best clinicians and scholars they can be.
