Do not feel compelled to provide information in every facet of multimedia. Expertise in but one area is more than sufficient to become a critical member of a multimedia team. If you have only begun to develop your talents in an area, just say so. Even experts on teams need assistants, and many are interested in bringing others along in their craft.
Multimedia development is a labor intensive task requiring numerous specialities: business manager; legal professional; project manager; creative director; marketing manager; sales manager; content expert; text composition (content writer; scriptwriter; editor; researcher), graphics (graphic designer; illustrator; photographer, virtual reality developer), sound (sound designers and researchers, musician, voice talent, audio engineers, MIDI-engineer), animation (2D animator; 3D animator); video (videographer; video editor), information engineering (web page author, webmaster, database designer, information designer; interface designer; programmer).
You may also use the Multimedia Inventory Search Page to test your entry and to find team participants for your project.
Please provide a summary of your multimedia experience, training and expertise in one or more of the areas below. You may type more information than the form field displays, but limit your summary in each field to just the highlights in under 300 words. Longer entries may be truncated. In the URL field, you may include one Web page address that is a representative sample of your work. If you wish to point to multiple web pages then the Web address must be a page you've created that provides those multiple links. If more than one Web page is given in this field, all but the first listed will be deleted. (The search and display system will only work with one address in this field.)
From time to time as your multimedia experience and training increase, update the database by creating a new record. There is a special field on the form (Time to delete) to indicate whether you have entered a prior record that should now be deleted. Where these duplicates for your name are found, the older record will be deleted.
