the basic idea
[SUP: Sharing Problems] [THINK: Guidance] [LEAP: Solving Problems]

This form stores your unsolved problems in a database. Through searches of the problem database, problem solvers from elementary, middle, high school and beyond are invited to find problems and then contribute to their solution. It is not intended to be a database of practice or hypothetical problems. It is expected that your entries are real or authentic problems that are appropriate for school age and general public engagement. Inappropriate entries can and will be deleted.

Please provide input to all fields below for proper processing, unless noted as optional.

Entry Form for New Problems

If you believe you have a new question, be sure that you have searched the database to see if this problem has already been solved or is currently being tackled. There are five different question types to help you form your question if needed.
Problem or Question
  • What is the question or problem that you would like to contribute to the SUP database?

Keyword:
To simplify database searching, provide a new single term or keyword that can be used as an identifying word for this problem (limit 20 characters). Instead of using spaces between words use a hyphen or the underscore symbol (e.g., tech-money or tech_money) to make searching more precise. The more unique your keyword, the easier it will be to use it to search for responses and contributions to your problem.

Hints or Solutions?

  • Is there any information that you can add that would help someone else in seeking a solution to this problem? (Optional).
