Stimulating Publishing Questions
To publish or perform projects your work to a larger audience. Reaching this stage assumes that for now you are done with editing and revising. It assumes that you are ready for a deeper comparison between what you have done and similar work done by others. Now you are inviting comparison.
The goal is to reach those interested in what you have done. You have already set this process in motion when you took your ideas through the Assess stage. In this stage you sought others interested in your ideas and know how and in what format to reach them. But you probably were only in regular contact with a very few members of this audience. Now you feel that many more could benefit from hearing from you. Use the contacts established in the other stages of the LEAP model to publicize a place and time in which your work can be seen or found. If however, this audience proved inadequate, it is time to find new ways to advertise what you have done. Once again browse the nets and publications looking for groups relevant to your creation. Perhaps one of the questions below will help you guide your thinking.

Questioning
- Can you recall the submission requirements for those who would help share your work? Who can help identify what they are?
- Could you share your work in more than one format or medium? Analyze prior creations on this topic. Where were they published?
- Who can compare the look of your piece with others on this topic?
- What inferences can you draw about publishing as soon as possible or waiting some period of time? Does your creation provide new problems to work on? Do you note that in this piece?
- Can you recommend certain critics to assist the editor in evaluating your piece? Why are you sharing this work?
