Folks,
Have an "urgent" need to prepare/send out specs for a special document imaging system for our Police Department. They had legacy microfiche/film equipment destroyed by Fran and have a grant to replace.

Am looking for:
- suggested vendors
- sample specifications
- draft/actual RFPs
- concerns/issues

It will initially be a "stand-alone" system localized within the Police Department Records section for currently "non-automated" records; ideally will be capable of expansion into all Police records areas and interface with a yet-to-be replaced DEC/Alpha VMS records system.
