Do not close your window to get rid of chat. Use the Logoff button. Or even better, restart your computer. When you use this free version it puts its own commercial over the LogOff button that you will you need. Sometimes the LogOff button is more visible if you use the Float button. But you can see a portion of the ff button just sticking out from the commercial.

If you do not LogOff their Chat system continues to use up your computer speed even though the Chat window has been closed.

The only way I feel really clear of the java chat code, once I started it up, is to restart my computer.
