The Professor's Bookshelf: Distance Learning

These are texts from my own collection that I am willing to let you borrow. This list does not include works that focus on radio and television work with distance education.

General Communication Skills

These works on communication focus only on theory, with no references to computer networks or technology. The reader must have the background to see how these ideas integrate with developments in computer networks.

An overlooked area of graduate skills is to effectively search through the information in pre-computer technologies such as libraries. This work covers a wide range of tools, with only minor mention of computer technology. It is not sufficient to know just the developing computer network resources. As many sources will not be computerized, older technologies for sources need to be mastered as well.
